In his 80's, Rich Greeno would get up at 6a.m. six days a week for his morning bike ride from his house near Sioux Falls Lincoln high school, where he built his cross country and track & field powerhouse. He would take his usual route all the way to Brandon, SD. Rich Greeno dedicated his free time for 40 summers to the summer track & field program for the Sioux Falls Park and Rec. In 1999, he won the Gary McQuaid Hershey National Volunteer of the year award for his dedication. We want to inspire everyone to fight obesity and related diseases by staying physically active on a year round basis like coach Rich Greeno did into his 80's.
